About the Course:

The Mini Stage presents an innovative approach to therapeutic work with objects in a miniature stage setting. Clients have a clear view of the stage, the available objects, and the clinician simultaneously. Its compact size makes it ideal for online sessions, ensuring clients have a comprehensive view of the entire stage while collaboratively arranging objects with the clinician's guidance. This facilitates a deeper exploration of clients' inner and outer dialogues, providing therapists with structured insights into their clients' realities.

The Mini Stage serves as a valuable tool for therapists, enabling individuals to externalize and address their issues in a creative and symbolic manner. It establishes a secure environment for the protagonist, offering an additional layer of safety, especially for clients not yet ready for psychodrama participation.

Moreover, the Mini Stage accommodates various therapeutic models, engaging clients with symbolic objects and role-playing to navigate complex emotions and challenges. Throughout this course, the work is conducted in a psychodramatic style, with references to the therapeutic spiral model, relational trauma repair model, and transactional analysis. Mini stage allows working with play, projection, and visual concretization, emphasizing the astonishing effect on clients as they gain new perspectives and creative solutions. While resembling sand tray work, the Mini Stage distinguishes itself by its smaller, yet equally impactful, size.

This video module presents the use of Mini Stage for group sessions, demonstrating a structured approach to engage participants through miniature symbols and role-play. It explores the intricacies of guiding group members to assume roles, facilitating deep exploration and collective growth within diverse group settings. Experience a master-level, transformative online group mini-stage therapeutic session. Witness professionals from Spain and the US guided through a profound transformation by a therapist from the Netherlands.
